GOD IS IN CONTROL
In the modern world that we live in, a man struggles day and night to be someone notable, to achieve glory, and to surpass others. While these goals are appreciable and worth the fight, most of the time he forgets who is actually in control of all these aspects.Our life, death, blessings, trials, and unforeseen events are all manifestations of God’s presence and supremacy. As a matter of fact, whatever there is in my life or yours is because of God’s decree. So, we must remember that no matter how much we try, if something is not decreed for us, we would never have it. This reminder will help us be strong, peaceful, and even happy.
WHY AREN’T HUMANS IN FULL CONTROL?
A burning question that triggers some minds is that why humans are not in full control of their fate and decisions. A very simple and logical answer to this question is that if God had given utter power to humans, this world would have been destroyed long ago.
People would have killed each other in the race of gaining complete command to run the world. Look around and see for yourself. God has only given some power and control to man and sees how he has exercised it in the world to oppress, kill and overpower others.
This world is full of such examples. When the power lies with one entity-the creator, things remain in control. Therefore, man is not in full control, in fact, it is God who has absolute authority over everything.
WHY GOD IS IN CONTROL: A MOVING EVENT
Although none of the believers would ever question God’s supremacy, yet it is important to highlight why God is in full control and man has less control. One primary reason is that the creator needs to have control of his creation and life.
Secondly, the utmost wisdom and knowledge lie with God only and man has only limited knowledge and experience.
What we sometimes perceive as the best for ourselves, may turn out to be the worst because we are unaware of the complete knowledge. With absolute knowledge of everything with him, God helps us make the best decisions, even if some of them taste bitter temporarily.
In the long run, we understand the wisdom behind why something happened the way it did.
Let me give you an example. This is a story about a man who called his friend up and told him that he wanted to meet the parents of his girlfriend that lived in another country, and he needed to travel to that country immediately.
So, he took a week off from work and booked a flight. On the day that he had to fly, his alarm clock would not work. This was startling to him because when he woke up, he saw that he had accidentally cut the volume of his alarm clock down.
Somehow, he got up late and missed the flight. He was very disappointed and somewhat annoyed, so he called his friend and told him what had happened. His friend being a religious man, told him that there was a divine intervention that stopped him from going and his friend just laughed it off.
Because he had missed his flight, his friend invited him to lunch since his day was already wasted. They ate and had a hearty lunch. By midday, they got the horrifying news that a plane had crashed, it was the same flight that his friend had booked a seat for.
They were both startled. They were obviously very sad for the people who had lost their lives in the crash, but when they connected the dots, they realized how God intervened and saved his life.
It was nothing less than a miracle for him. This is just one example of showing how whatever God decrees, happens for sure. Look around and see for yourself whose control this world is and you will realize that God alone who is the final deciding power on earth.
GOD IS IN CONTROL: REASSURANCE FOR EVERY STRUGGLING SOUL
When we say that God controls every major and minor aspect of this universe, it becomes a great source of courage and reassurance for the person who is struggling. Anyone who wishes to attain some goals must remember that achieving them or not will eventually be dependent on God alone.
Man can only put in their best efforts, but the final verdict is always passed by God. In the same manner, for a bereaved, anxious heart that gets tired of constant struggle with no major outcomes, when you tell yourself that God is the final authority, your spirit to work harder gets replenished.
Even if things fail to work out well for you, when you think like a true believer, you know that God will reward you for your hard work and efforts in his own way.
You tell yourself that God knows the exact time of blessing you with your rewards. So, your job is to keep working in the direction of your goals and dreams Whatever time God has finalized for you to savor the fruits of your toil, he will descend them towards you in a jiffy.
Thus, this belief that God is in control works like a healing ointment as it reassures everyone striving to be better and get some benefits from their hard work.
CONCLUSION
In short, faith in God’s supremacy must be unshakable. We must remember that whatever we dream or wish to attain, is in God’s control. If he would deem them appropriate and fulfilling for you, he would let them in your life. However, if he shuns them from reaching you, never think of doubting yourself or God’s mercy.
Remember the fact that humans work with only limited know-how of things while the divine power works keeping in view what everyone deserves or needs to have.
We also need to remember that whatever we want we have to believe in ourselves in order to get what we want. If you have faith and believe that you will accomplish something, you will.
All you need is the faith of a mustard seed believe and you shall succeed. A lot of people let doubt come in and take away everything that they believe in just because it did not happen right away or when they want it to happen, they give up.
